FAQs

  • Yes, always. Every image is personally edited by me, Ethan Wong. Editing is where the emotion and tone of your photos really come to life, and I treat that process like storytelling. Around sixty percent of what gives my work its distinct feel comes from post-processing, so it’s something I’ll never hand off.

  • Light retouching is included for small distractions or temporary blemishes. I keep everything looking natural and clean so the focus stays on real skin tones, authentic colors, and timeless results that still look like you.

  • Totally okay! Honestly, most of my clients feel that way. I guide you through everything naturally, giving subtle direction when needed and letting you move freely when it feels right. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and never over-posed. If you see shots of mine that you like with people in them, chances are they’ve said “I don’t know how to pose” at one point or another so rest assured, I’ll help you throughout.

  • The consultation is where we really get to know each other. It’s meant to understand who you are, your personalities, and what your vision looks like. I believe photos should reflect who you are as people, not just my creative direction, because it’s about your story with my touch to it. We’ll go over the best timing for light, what your schedule looks like, and any details specific to your session or wedding day. You can ask me anything during this time; I’m an open book. It’s also where we start building trust, which I think is one of the most important parts of creating something meaningful together.

  • The best locations are the ones that feel like you: places with meaning, comfort, or a story behind them. Visually, I believe beauty exists everywhere, and it’s my job to bring that to life. Whether it’s a cozy home, a hidden park, or a bustling street, we’ll make it work perfectly for the vibe.

  • Galleries are typically ready within a week or less depending on the season. During peak times like weddings or fall sessions, delivery may take slightly longer, but everything is still processed quickly without compromising quality. Regular updates will be provided throughout the editing process.

  • Definitely. Bring anything that feels personal or adds character to your shoot, whether that’s outfits, accessories, or something small that feels like you. I’ll help you plan and time transitions so everything flows naturally.

  • Life happens. As outlined in the contract you’ll receive, sessions can be rescheduled when needed. For uncontrollable situations like weather or emergencies, rescheduling can absolutely be done at no cost within reasonable limits.

  • I usually arrive about thirty minutes early to get settled, set up, and make sure everything’s ready to go. For weddings or larger events, it’s closer to forty-five minutes to allow time for parking, equipment prep, and coordination with other vendors. It’s just a small buffer to make sure everything flows smoothly once we start.

  • There’s no set limit. You’ll receive every image that tells part of your story, all edited with care and consistency. I never cap the number of photos, because every genuine moment deserves to be included.
